myLawyer was founded by Ronald DeKoven, formerly a senior partner at Shearman & Sterling in New York. Mr DeKoven has also  practised as a barrister in London. Mr DeKoven has put together a team of ex senior executives of chambers  and  leading marketing and branding experts to work for myLawyer. 

myLawyer occupies a prominent space on the Internet; thus, many individuals and business clients come to our website. Clients search for and browse profiles of lawyers on the mylawyerhub.com website. This service is completely free to the client. 

The clients select the lawyer or lawyers they think best qualified to solve their legal problem. The lawyers are contacted by the clients on the mobile app and indicate if they are interested to talk to the client about their problem. The client and lawyer continue their communication via the myLawyer app. 

The app allows registered  lawyers to network and collaborate. They can also share and store their files in the cloud. All communications are double encrypted in transit and at rest. Only the lawyer and the people they invite to their discussions can read the communications and access the data shared with them.
